Running From the Number Nine

Hey! This is one of two covers I specifically did for my spotify playlists
instead of working on classwork! I stole the line from either a poem or
song I wrote over a year ago, which is also where the other album's title
came from. I tried to illustrate the poem to the best of my ability.

Play Pretend

This is the second playlist that I mentioned, it was based off of a song
from YEARS ago, most likely from eighth grade. I didn't expect to like the
song, but it surprised me, and I tried singing it and didn't hate the
results.
The playlist cover just ended up happening when I was looking for
poses to draw and came across pictures of myself in that specific outfit,
one I wore when trying to cheer people up. I asked them to dress for the
apocalypse if they'd like to, a smaller comic idea forming from the ashes
of another from 2015 combined with a dose of isolation. A universe where my
friends and I could be together fighting the good fight, Or Whatever.
I like the results but in no way was this worth wasting my time on when I could've been repairing my grades. In the end, I had to do the texture by altering two of the brushes to insane extents, the image was originally too high quality for any of the textures online.
